The server requires a NetBox API token which grants access to NetBox data. Users must ensure this token has appropriate, minimal permissions and is securely managed. When deployed via HTTP transport (especially in Docker), the server exposes a web endpoint that should be secured if exposed to untrusted networks. SSL verification is enabled by default, which is good practice.
